People are buying condos in greater numbers
Sales of condos in the last 12 months are up 26.7% compared to the most-recent 12 months a year earlier. Average selling price was up about 1.7% in the same period but expensive high end condos have seen a greater increase of about 4.5%.
The Miami Beach market is different than other parts of the United States and the inflow of buyers is stronger than it has been in several years. Many buyers from North America and Europe have been waiting for lower prices and signs of a solidified market and are acting now.
